Kumai Yurina 熊井友理奈 182cm

Kumai Yurina (熊井友理奈) is a Japanese pop singer belonged to the idol group 'BerryZ Koubou (Berryz工房)'. Back when she was at the age of 15, Kumai already reached 178cm (5'10). As a result, Kumai has always been dwarfing other members of BerrryZ Koubou when they stand together. One of Kumai's best friends in Berryz since childhood is Tsugunaga Momoko (嗣永桃子), who is only 149.8cm (4'11) tall. The 32cm height difference (身長差) they present is absolutely stunning in some of the group photos.

A common estimate of Kumai's height since she stopped growing is 182cm (6'), although she claimed to be only 178cm (5'10) tall. The average height of Japanese female is only 158cm (5'2), so it's not hard to see why Kumai always stands out.

Mai Phương Thúy 184cm

Mai Phương Thúy was the 10th Miss Vietnam. On the English Wikipedia at this point she is recorded as 188cm (6'2) tall. In the Vietnamese version, however, she's currently recorded as 179cm (5'10.5). On the other hand, the majority of the material I found with Google claimed she is 184cm tall, so I just took this median value among the three as her height in the title. Mai might look quite mature but she's only 25 years old now, as she's born in 1988.

Chi-Ling Lin (林志玲) is arguably the most established fashion model thus far in Taiwan. She attended University of Toronto and completed her double major in Western art history and economics in 1997. In her early career, she was mainly a fashion model for a living. In 2004, as public exposure increased, her popularity skyrocketed in Taiwan due to her extraordinarily charming figure and sweet personality, and her 175cm stature often made her stand out in groups of celebrities, which deepened people's impression of 'the Goddess Chi-Ling'. Thereafter, she has been to Japan and Mainland China to pursue her TV and movie careers, and become a highly well known celebrity across numerous Asian countries. In 2011, she found a charity to help children welfare. Just a fabulous lady overall.

Yin-Ping Wang 王尹平 178cm

Ying-Ping Wang is known for (王尹平) her E cup plump breast and long legs in Taiwan. Her body measurement is 34-25-35, 178cm tall (5'10) and 53kg in weight. Wang majored in traditional music in college, and began her modeling career a year before graduating from college. However, not until her regular appearances on TV shows had Ying-Ping Wang become a celebrity in Taiwan. 

Because her tall stature and her habit of wearing high heels when joining TV shows, she is often asked to literally have a height comparison with other guests who is likely to be particularly short, which results in some of funny-looking height difference scenes.

Aoi Usami (宇佐美あおい) is a race queen in Japan. She has developed a passion for cars and motorcycles, and seems to be a decent badminton player. Some of you might think 173cm is not exactly tall, but considering the mere 158cm height of an average Japanese female, as mentioned in other posts, more than often she could tower over other women or even some men, with her lovely 7cm+ heels. Back in 2007, she was the winner of the Miss Astro Chinese International, although she's much more of an actress than a model in recent years. Overall, the combination of the elegance and tall stature makes this lady very attractive in a tall women admirer's eyes.

Amber Chia (謝麗萍) is arguably the most established fashion model in Malaysia, and one of the few Malaysian models who has gained international popularity over these years. Besides modeling, she also starred in multiple movies. For what it's worth, some poster in a Malaysian forum claimed he had met Amber before, and her actual height should be around 170cm.

Yurika Nagase (永瀬友里加) is one of the tallest Japanese race queens in the business. You might think race queens are normally the taller ladies, but in Japan it's just not the case, since most of them are between 160cm and 170cm in height. One thing that's easily noticeable about Yurika is that her face is so small, which makes her legs look even longer.

Han Young (한영) was the lead singer of the 1st generation of the South Korean girl group 'LPG', an ancronym of 'Long Pretty Girls'. As its name suggests, the members all feature pretty face and long legs. And Han Young was the tallest and arguably the most charming one. In 2008, Han Young left the group, and has been an actress and a host of some TV shows since. In some episodes of the TV show Comedy Stations (웃음충전소) on KBS2, Han Young towered over and thus humiliated the actor Kim Byung-man (김병만), who was reported to be 165cm or shorter, for comedic purpose. Maggie Wu (吳亞馨) is another example of 'fashion model turning to actress'. A lovely and elegant looking woman. She had great reputation in Taiwan until the shocking sex scandal in 2012 with Justin Lee (李宗瑞), which put a stop to her acting career. Nevertheless, after a year-long rest, recently Maggie Wu has returned to work, and seems to be accepted by most people. After all, gold digging is not exactly a crime or something like that.

Doris Wang (王嬿茹) is a Taiwanese fashion model and showgirl. Wang's nice pair of long legs is really what makes her stand out. When mentioning her, people appear to never forget to talk about her height and the long legs. Jia-Ying Zhang (張佳瑩) is a Taiwanese show girl and photo model, and has a stage name 'Sushi Zhang (張壽司)', which is named after the famous Japanese dish sushi. Her measurement is 32C-24-33, and 50kg in weight. Zhang has been in the business since young age, and her selling point, as you can see, is her elegant slim figure and a nice pair of long legs. She's only about 20 as of now, and hopefully will have a successful career and bring us more beautiful photos.

Megumi Kurihara (栗原恵) was a member of the Japanese national women volleyball team. She was already 176cm tall when she's in 1st grade in junior high (or 7th grade in America and some countries?), and afterwards continued to grow to 187cm tall. For your information, the average height of Japanese females is 158cm, so on most occasions Megumi looks like a giant off volleyball court in Japan. Sadly she has not been as active in the last few year due to her knee injury.
